Our objective is to empower the youth through education, by providing them with a variety of different skills within the tourism and hospitality industry. Our professional and experienced teachers will train and guid them as well as continue to support them with job placements within the tourism sectors in Nepal.
We offer the following courses; cooking courses, barista training, baking courses, food and beverage service, bartending, hospitality English, hotel management, and housekeeping. We do have long and short courses varying from two weeks to one year, depending ones own preference and interest.
Our Training Courses
COOKING COURSES
We offer different types of cooking courses here at Cocina Mitho Chha. Our aim is to give our students an excellent grounding and understanding of this carrier sector. We try to encourage all our students as much as possible, giving them courage and self respect, necessary for their future paths. Our courses have different durations, depending on the students needs and interests. We take up to to 10 students per class. The course covers many areas to give students basic skills and understand of food preparation and how to run a kitchen. Topics covered include personal and food hygiene, menu planning, food preparation and storage, food handling, cooking skills, and record keeping. After having completed the classes, students will be able to use their skills in other cafes, restaurants and hotels, allowing them to further their abilities to work in the kitchen sector of hospitality. Some students continue working here at Cocina Mitha Chha and even become teachers themselves. We are happy to guid and help all of our students with finding future placements and jobs if needed.

BARISTA TRAINING
Barista Courses
Here are Cocina Mitho Chha hospitality school, we offer barista training. This sector is very new to the nepalese culture, yet is rapidly growing. This is due to the increase in tourism as well as the general liking of coffee, and it becoming more popular in Kathmandu. The duration of our classes are between one and six months, depending on the students time and interest within the field. We usually take up to 10 students within each class. Our program is made up of many practical lessons in our restaurant and bar here at Cocina Mitho Chaa. This is important so that the students learn early on how to interact with customers. After the completion of the program and the exams, we gladly help out students to find their future paths, and guid them in the search of a new job.

BAKING COURSES
Baking Courses
We do not only offer cooking classes, but we also offer baking courses. Here at Cocina Mitho Chha we are able to teach you how to bake, whether you want to learn how to bake for yourself, or go into the baking industry of hospitality. Our professional teachers will guid you through a well structured program, offering you new skills that you can apply in the future. You will be learning how to bake things from a simple carrot cake to things like a black forest cake, decorated with carries and whipped cream. FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE
When it comes to hospitality, the food and beverage service is one of the most important things. Whether it comes to restaurants, cafés, or even hotels, waitering skills are highly demanded. We will prepare you to work in the hospitality industry, as well as hope to let you gain confidence in what you are doing, by improving your service and communication skills. BARTENDING
Do to the rapid growth of tourism in Nepal, there is an increased amount of bars and restaurants opening in Kathmandu, increasing demand for bartending. Here at Cocina Mitho Chha we offer bartending training to students, taking up to ten students per class. We are able to teach you how to work with simple drinks all the way to more complicated ones, preparing you for your future job opportunities. We have a well structures class thought by our helpful teachers, that will gladly guide you step by step through your training program. HOSPITALITY ENGLISH
Due to the increased tourism in Nepal, it becomes very important to be able to speak some English. We offer the basics of hospitality English here at Cocina Mitho Chha. These skills will be very helpful for future communication with English speaking tourists. English is a world wide common language, spoken by the majority of tourists and travellers. Since our school is a well trained in hospitality, we offer the most necessary English that is needed to get around in that working sector.
